A Collar for Holly

Holly needed a dress to wear to her daughter's wedding. She found this lovely WTOO that looked absolutely fantastic on her and would have been the perfect thing in the right shade of purple... Except that she wanted a top that was a little more her, and perhaps not so plunging. That's where I came in.

  Once her dress came in we cut off the top and made a mockup of the new one. This lets us make sure that we like the new design and that the fit is right before we go cutting up the fancy fabric.

After a few adjustments she was ready to walk down the aisle. Our final dress included pleating in the front, and just a touch of smaller pleating in the back. We added a collar that extended nicely out of the V neckline, showing off her neck. 3/4 sleeves with a french cuff and button detail and voila! It was a dress fit for Holly. A few finishing touches from her jewelry box sealed the deal.
